كواليس هذه المأساة روتها ماجدة منير، شقيقة زوج الفنانة الراحلة، عبر حساب الإعلامية سهير جودة، مسلطة الضوء على الوجه الآخر لنجمة عشقها الملايين. بدأت الحكاية عندما واجهت فايزة كمال المرض الخبيث للمرة الأولى، وخضعت لرحلة علاج شاقة حتى منّ الله عليها بالشفاء وانتصرت عليه. لكن القدر خبّأ لها فصلاً أقسى، فبعد نحو خمس سنوات، عاد السرطان ليطرق بابها من جديد، وينتشر بقسوة في جسدها رغم كل محاولات العلاج والمقاومة.

The story began when Faiza Kamal faced the malignant illness for the first time and underwent a grueling treatment journey until God granted her healing and she triumphed over it. However, fate had a harsher chapter in store for her; after about five years, cancer returned to knock on her door again, spreading cruelly in her body despite all attempts at treatment and resistance.
Despite the severity of the pain, the late artist was characterized by her extreme reticence and legendary patience; she never complained about bodily pain, nor about the harshness of the artistic scene, the slow pace of work, or the absence of lights. Her greatest concern and inner fear was for the future of her children, before the curtain fell on her illustrious career, leaving the hearts of her fans drowning in sorrow over the departure of one of the purest faces of Egyptian television.
