برأت المحكمة الاقتصادية في مصر الفنانة وفاء مكي من اتهامات السب والقذف الموجهة إليها من قبل إحدى السيدات، وجاء هذا الحكم في محاكمة جرت أحداثها لتنهي نزاعاً قانونياً حول ادعاءات تتعلق بتأخر مكي في سداد الأقساط المتبقية لجهاز حاسوب محمول تم شراؤه بنظام التقسيط.
بداية الأزمة
وتعود جذور الواقعة إلى محضر رسمي حررته الشاكية في قسم شرطة الدقي، ادعت فيه أن الفنانة وفاء مكي اشترت جهاز لاب توب بالتقسيط وسددت دفعة من قيمته، قبل أن تتوقف عن دفع المبالغ المستحقة.
وذكرت المشتكية في البلاغ بأنها تواصلت مع الفنانة هاتفياً للمطالبة بالمستحقات المتبقية، إلا أن المكالمة سرعان ما تطورت إلى مشادة كلامية حادة، اتهمت خلالها الفنانة بالتطاول عليها بعبارات تتضمن سباً وقذفاً، ما دفعها للجوء إلى الجهات الأمنية.
وعلى أثر البلاغ، باشرت الأجهزة الأمنية المختصة عمليات الفحص والتحري اللازمة للوقوف على ملابسات المشادة، وتم تحويل الملف كاملاً إلى النيابة العامة التي تولت التحقيق في الاتهامات واستكمال الإجراءات القانونية، تمهيداً لإحالة القضية إلى المحكمة الاقتصادية، والتي انتهت بعد الاستماع لكافة الأطراف إلى إصدار حكم البراءة لصالح وفاء مكي.
سوء فهم
وفي أول رد فعل لها عقب صدور حكم البراءة، شاركت وفاء مكي متابعيها عبر حسابها الرسمي على فيسبوك صورة تجمعها بمحاميها، معربة عن تقديرها وثقتها المطلقة في نزاهة القضاء المصري، ومؤكدة أن الأمر برمته كان مجرد سوء فهم.
ونفت مكي وجود أي مديونيات مالية أو أقساط لصالح مقدمة البلاغ، موضحة أن الشاكية لم تكن دائنة لها على الإطلاق، بل كانت تعمل في مجال الوساطة وتتولى بيع بعض الأجهزة المملوكة للفنانة نفسها، مشددة على أنها لم تحصل منها على أجهزة أو أموال كما جرى ترويجه في الوسائل الإعلامية.
عودة فنية
وتزامنت هذه التطورات القضائية مع عودة الفنانة وفاء مكي للظهور الإعلامي خلال الأشهر الأخيرة، إذ فتحت في لقاءات تلفزيونية ملفات عدة تخص حياتها الشخصية والفنية، معلنة استعدادها لاستعادة موقعها على الساحة الفنية بعد سنوات طويلة من الغياب، ومؤكدة تلقيها عروضاً لأعمال درامية وسينمائية جديدة ترغب من خلالها في تقديم أدوار متنوعة.
وفي حديثها عن خلفيات الأزمة، كشفت وفاء مكي أنها تعرفت على السيدة صاحبة البلاغ عبر تطبيق تيك توك، وأن الأخيرة طلبت منها التدخل والمساعدة لدخول عالم التمثيل.
وأوضحت مكي بأنها استجابت لطلبها ورشحتها بالفعل للمشاركة في أحد الأعمال الفنية، إلا أن المخرج أخضعها لاختبارات أداء وقرر عدم صلاحيتها للتمثيل، مؤكدة بأن هذا الرفض كان السبب المباشر في توتر العلاقة بينهما ولجوء السيدة لتقديم البلاغ كنوع من التشهير والخلافات الشخصية، نافية صحة كافة الاتهامات.
The Economic Court in Egypt acquitted artist Wafaa Makki of the defamation and slander charges brought against her by a woman. This ruling came after a trial that aimed to resolve a legal dispute regarding claims related to Makki’s delay in paying the remaining installments for a laptop purchased on an installment plan.
The Beginning of the Crisis
The roots of the incident trace back to an official report filed by the complainant at the Dokki Police Station, in which she claimed that artist Wafaa Makki purchased a laptop on installments and paid a portion of its value before stopping the payments due.
The complainant mentioned in her report that she contacted the artist by phone to demand the remaining dues, but the call quickly escalated into a heated argument, during which she accused the artist of insulting her with phrases that included slander and defamation, prompting her to resort to the security authorities.
Following the report, the relevant security agencies initiated the necessary examination and investigation operations to understand the circumstances of the altercation, and the entire file was referred to the Public Prosecution, which undertook the investigation into the allegations and completed the legal procedures, paving the way for the case to be referred to the Economic Court, which concluded after hearing all parties by issuing a verdict of acquittal in favor of Wafaa Makki.
Misunderstanding
In her first reaction following the acquittal verdict, Wafaa Makki shared with her followers on her official Facebook account a photo of herself with her lawyer, expressing her appreciation and absolute trust in the integrity of the Egyptian judiciary, confirming that the whole matter was merely a misunderstanding.
Makki denied having any financial debts or installments owed to the complainant, clarifying that the complainant was not a creditor to her at all, but rather worked in the brokerage field and was responsible for selling some devices owned by the artist herself, emphasizing that she did not receive any devices or money from her as was promoted in the media.
Artistic Comeback
These judicial developments coincided with Wafaa Makki’s return to the media spotlight in recent months, as she opened up in television interviews about several aspects of her personal and artistic life, announcing her readiness to reclaim her position in the artistic scene after many years of absence, and confirming that she has received offers for new dramatic and cinematic works through which she wishes to present diverse roles.
Speaking about the background of the crisis, Wafaa Makki revealed that she met the woman who filed the report through the TikTok application, and that the latter asked her for intervention and assistance to enter the acting world.
Makki explained that she responded to her request and indeed recommended her to participate in one of the artistic works, but the director subjected her to auditions and decided she was not suitable for acting, asserting that this rejection was the direct cause of the tension in their relationship and the woman’s resort to filing the report as a form of defamation and personal disputes, denying the validity of all the accusations.
