في خطوة مبكرة لإشعال الماراثون الرمضاني القادم، يضع الفنان أحمد العوضي الرتوش الأخيرة على ملامح عمله الدرامي الجديد «سلطان الديب»، مراهناً على تقديم تجربة استثنائية تؤسس لنمط مختلف تماماً عما قدمه في السابق.
العوضي كشف ثقته الكبيرة في المضمون الدرامي للمسلسل، موضحاً أنه يراهن على جذب انتباه الجمهور من اللحظة الأولى والمشهد التمثيلي الأول، وليس فقط مع نهاية الحلقة الأولى كما جرت العادة. ويعكف حالياً على بناء الأبعاد النفسية والشكل الخارجي لشخصية «سلطان الديب» لتقديمها بأسلوب ومضمون جديدين لم يُتطرق إليهما في أي عمل تلفزيوني سابق.
وحول اشتعال المنافسة المرتقبة في سباق رمضان مع قامات درامية بحجم محمد رمضان وعمرو سعد، حسم العوضي الجدل بنبرة زمالة واضحة، مؤكداً أن الصراع الفني ليس سوى حافز للاجتهاد وتقديم الأفضل للجمهور، مشدداً على أن تعدد النجوم في موسم واحد يصب في مصلحة المشاهد ويمنح كل فنان فرصة لإرضاء محبيه.
ولم يخلُ العمل من تفجير الجدل مبكراً على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، عقب الإعلان عن انضمام لجين خليفة (بطلة كليب «لولا البنات» للفنان عمرو دياب) لطاقم المسلسل. وفي الوقت الذي اتهم فيه البعض هذه الخطوة بالاستعانة بركوب موجة «الترند» والشهرة السريعة دون خبرة تمثيلية سابقة، دافع العوضي عن اختيارها مؤكداً امتلاكها موهبة واعدة، ومتمنياً أن تكون هذه التجربة خطوتها الأولى نحو كتابة اسمها بين نجمات التمثيل.

El Awady revealed his great confidence in the dramatic content of the series, explaining that he is betting on capturing the audience’s attention from the very first moment and the first acting scene, not just by the end of the first episode as is usually the case. He is currently focused on building the psychological dimensions and external appearance of the character “Sultan Al-Deeb” to present it in a new style and substance that has not been addressed in any previous television work.
Regarding the anticipated competition in the Ramadan race with dramatic figures like Mohamed Ramadan and Amr Saad, El Awady settled the debate with a clear tone of camaraderie, confirming that the artistic rivalry is merely a motivation to strive and provide the best for the audience, emphasizing that the presence of multiple stars in one season benefits the viewer and gives each artist a chance to satisfy their fans.
The work has not been without early controversy on social media platforms, following the announcement of the joining of Lujain Khalifa (the star of the music video “Lola Al-Banat” by artist Amr Diab) to the cast of the series. While some accused this step of riding the wave of “trending” and quick fame without prior acting experience, El Awady defended her selection, affirming that she possesses promising talent, and wishing that this experience would be her first step towards writing her name among the stars of acting.
