أكد الفنان المصري طارق الدسوقي أن مشاركته في موسم دراما رمضان الحالي من خلال مسلسل علي كلاي تمثل بالنسبة له ميلادًا فنيًا جديدًا ومختلفًا في مشواره، لا سيما بعد الدعم الكبير الذي وجده من فريق العمل وتمسك صناعه بوجوده ضمن الأحداث.
تردد قبل الموافقة
وأوضح الدسوقي، في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ»، أنه كان مترددًا في البداية بسبب الطابع الشعبي للمسلسل، وحرص على قراءة 15 حلقة كاملة قبل اتخاذ قراره، لكنه اطمأن بعد الاطلاع على نص متكامل يقدم دراما شعبية اجتماعية تحترم الواقع وتبتعد عن الإسفاف.
تحضيرات مكثفة
وعن تحضيرات شخصية «منصور الجوهري»، أشار إلى أنه عقد جلسات عمل مكثفة مع المخرج محمد عبدالسلام للاتفاق على تفاصيل «اللوك» والأبعاد الدرامية، مؤكدًا أن الشخصية تعد من أصعب أدواره نظرًا لتعقيدها وتركيبها الفني.
أسباب الغياب
وبشأن ابتعاده لأكثر من 14 عامًا، أرجع الدسوقي سبب غيابه منذ عام 2011 إلى اعتراضه على نوعية بعض الأعمال التي قدمت آنذاك، والتي رأى أنها ابتعدت عن الهوية والقيم المجتمعية، وامتلأت بمشاهد العنف والابتذال.

El Desouki explained, in a special statement to “Okaz,” that he was initially hesitant due to the popular nature of the series, and he made sure to read 15 complete episodes before making his decision. However, he felt reassured after reviewing a complete script that presents a social popular drama that respects reality and avoids vulgarity.
Intensive Preparations
Regarding the preparations for the character “Mansour El Gohary,” he pointed out that he held intensive work sessions with director Mohamed Abdel Salam to agree on the details of the “look” and the dramatic dimensions, confirming that the character is one of his most challenging roles due to its complexity and artistic composition.
Reasons for Absence
As for his absence for more than 14 years, El Desouki attributed his absence since 2011 to his objection to the quality of some works that were presented at that time, which he felt strayed from identity and societal values and were filled with scenes of violence and vulgarity.
