لم تكن الأيام لتطوي صفحة خلاف مالي واجتماعي امتد لأعوام طويلة، فاندلعت نيران الثأر القديم لتخلف وراءها فصلاً دامياً هز أرجاء مركز كوم أمبو في محافظة أسوان المصرية، مسدلةً الستار على حياة فتحي محمد المرغني، عم الفنان الشهير حمدي المرغني، إثر هجوم مسلح غادر.
بدأت خيوط القضية تتكشف مع إعلان الأجهزة الأمنية بوزارة الداخلية المصرية ملابسات الواقعة التي ضجت بها منصات التواصل الاجتماعي. فقد تلقى مركز الشرطة، منتصف سبتمبر الحالي، إخطاراً طبياً يفيد بوصول المجني عليه جثة هامدة متأثراً بإصابات بالغة جراء طلقات نارية متفرقة استهدفته دون سابق إنذار.
لكن التحقيقات الأولية وسؤال شقيق الضحية أماطا اللثام عن الجذور الخفية للجريمة، مشيرين إلى خصومة ثأرية متأصلة تعود جذورها إلى عام 2015، على خلفية نزاع محتدم حول ملكية قطعة أرض. وعلى أثر ذلك، تحركت فرق البحث الجنائي بخطى حثيثة لتمشيط مسرح الجريمة وجمع الاستدلالات، مما أفضى سريعاً إلى تحديد هوية الجناة ومخبئهما.
وأسفرت المداهمات الأمنية عن ضبط عاطلين متورطين في ارتكاب الجريمة، وبحوزتهما بندقيتان آليتان إحداهما استُخدمت في إزهاق روح الضحية، فضلاً عن ضبط سيارة «ربع نقل» استخدماها في الفرار بعدما أزالا لوحاتها المعدنية لطمس معالمها. وبمواجهة المتهمين بالتحريات الدقيقة، انهار أحدهما معترفاً بتنفيذ الاعتداء بسلاحه الناري قبل أن يلوذا بالفرار، ليتم التحفظ على المضبوطات وإحالة الملف برمته إلى النيابة العامة لمباشرة التحقيقات واستكمال الإجراءات القانونية.

The threads of the case began to unravel with the announcement by the security apparatus of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior regarding the circumstances of the incident that had caused a stir on social media platforms. The police station received a medical notification in mid-September indicating that the victim had arrived as a lifeless body, affected by severe injuries from scattered gunshots that targeted him without prior warning.
However, the initial investigations and the questioning of the victim’s brother revealed the hidden roots of the crime, pointing to a deep-rooted vendetta dating back to 2015, stemming from a fierce dispute over the ownership of a piece of land. Consequently, criminal investigation teams moved swiftly to comb the crime scene and gather evidence, which quickly led to the identification of the perpetrators and their hideout.
The security raids resulted in the arrest of two unemployed individuals involved in committing the crime, who were found in possession of two automatic rifles, one of which was used to take the victim’s life, in addition to seizing a “quarter-ton” truck that they used to flee after removing its license plates to obscure its identity. When confronted with the precise investigations, one of the suspects broke down, confessing to carrying out the attack with his firearm before fleeing, leading to the seizure of the evidence and the referral of the entire file to the public prosecution to commence investigations and complete the legal procedures.
